I started my Real Estate Career in 2007. Everybody said this was the worst time to start my career, but I'm not like everybody else. I see challenges as stepping stones to the top. I take pride in doing things myself and learning as much as I can (not only about Real Estate). Granted I am fairly new to the business, but again just another stepping stone. People see being new as a handicap, but I don't view it that way. When you are new at something you have all these emotions running through you from head to toe. You have to prove not only to yourself but everyone else that you are capable, knowledgable, and the best for the job. Everyone is new at something at some point in their lives and hopefully throughout your lifetime you are always trying something new. I hope I never get old at this. If it does happen then It will be time for me to retire. Until then I am eager to learn, help, and build some lasting relationships in this business. My first year was very exciting and productive. I learned more than I could have ever dreamed possible. Not all good experiences, but all learning. I covered pretty much every scenario, but I'm sure there are still plenty out there for me to tackle. I will tackle them! I work hard and don't take this amazing career for granted. I am so lucky to be able to do what I am passionate about doing. As an added bonus I get to work with amazing people day in and day out, and hopefully help them fulfill their own wishes and dreams.
Personal
I grew up in beautiful Bethany, Oklahoma. My parents still live in the same house I grew up in. Bethany will always have a special place in my heart. I graduated from Putnam City Original in 1997 with honors. I played basketball and soccer, and loved them. I hope that when my kids are older they will love sports as much as I did. Husband wants them to play football, but I would prefer basketball. We will see. I now live on the outskirts of Yukon, Oklahoma. My five year old son started Pre-K at Piedmont Primary, and he just loves it. I can't believe how much he has learned in such little time. My three year old son adjusted just fine without having big brother push him around. My husband and I spend the summer days off at the lake. We are a pretty active family. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and everyone controls their own destiny. If I ever have a bad day, I try and remember that somebody out there is probably having a worse one. I am surrounded by real estate everyday. My family lives and breathes it. My husband and I are real estate investors, so the family is use to seeing houses everyday or working on a house everyday. Real Estate is what we enjoy and hope to enjoy for the rest of our lives.
